WHAT IS IT AND WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR?
Cramp, all muscle injuries, tendonitis, frozen shoulder, neck stiffness, tennis/golfer's elbow, back pain, sciatica, hamstring and calf strains, ankle tendon damage, shin splints, planter fasciitis, heel pain, groin strains, fibromyalgia, arthritis, tension, stress and headaches.
WHAT IS IT?
A combination of Thermal Stone Massage, Remedial Massage, Shiatsu and Electrotherapy.
HEATED STONES
Massaging with the heated stones brings oxygen rich blood to the areas of application, increasing lymph flow and metabolism. The warmed muscles allow a greater intensity of treatment than possible with just hand massage.
COLD STONES
Cool stones reduce inflammation, congestion and blockages and give the lymphatic system a boost in the removal of waste products.
ALTERNATING
Alternating warm and cold stones gives rise to deep tissue sedation then stimulation resulting in relief from many chronic and acute symptoms.
ELECTROTHERAPY
We use the "Thumper" massager, the most widely used machine by health professionals worldwide. There is no other machine which can come close to the effectiveness of these deep muscle massagers.
NOTHING WORKS AS FAST AS MEDISTONE
We have hundreds of clients with ages ranging from 10 to 92 all of whom have benefited from Medistone Bodywork.
